The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

Health Services

Public Health

Manages and performs public health activities and programs in support of the Aerospace Medicine Program. Force Health Management is responsible for medical deployment clearance processing, Individual Medical Readiness in Aeromedical Services Information Management System, travel medicine and administrative oversight of occupational health examinations, including performing audiograms. Community Health Element manages communicable disease control and prevention, food safety and defense, medical entomology, facility sanitation, and public health contingency response programs. Hearing Tests and Deployment Related Health Assessments are by appointment, and all other services are on a walk-in basis during the hours of operations.
