Watch New TRICARE COVID-19 Vaccine Video Series: Got Your 6

By TRICARE Communications

Have you watched the latest “Got Your 6” video? If not, make sure you check it out. “Got Your 6” is a new TRICARE video series to keep you in the know about the latest on COVID-19. It gives you a peek into the status of Department of Defense (DoD) vaccine distribution, vaccine availability, and other COVID-19 information that relates to your TRICARE benefit. These quick video updates will come your way three times a month.

The April 26 video highlights how the DoD is continuing its efforts to increase vaccinations for service members and family members both overseas and in the U.S. As of April 19, appointments are open to all eligible and authorized beneficiaries nationwide. To make your COVID-19 vaccine appointment, contact your local military hospital, clinic, or DoD vaccination site or use their online appointment tool.

The video ends with an important but simple message to remember: “Get the COVID-19 vaccine, and let’s defeat this virus together.”

As the COVID-19 vaccines become more widely available, you may have questions and that’s normal. You can go to TRICARE’s COVID Vaccine page to learn more facts about COVID-19 vaccines and how you can get a vaccine. Once you’re fully vaccinated for COVID-19, visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website for guidance on what you can start to do.

Continue to keep track of changes to COVID-19 guidance. The next “Got Your 6” video releases May 6. Stop by the TRICARE Newsroom to watch it. For now, click the links below to watch more “Got Your 6” videos:
