Flight Medicine provides specialized care for aircrew and fire personnel, ensuring members are medically cleared, mission-ready, and safe to perform high-risk operational duties
Services Provided
- Primary & Acute Care medical appointments and preventative medicine
- Flight Physicals (FLY PHAs): Annual preventive health assessments and specialized physical exams required to maintain flying status and obtain or renew a DD Form 2992
- Return-to-Fly (RTF) Clinic: Walk-in or scheduled evaluations to clear and return aircrew to flight status following an illness, injury, or off-base medical care
- Required surveillance examinations, audiograms, and respirator clearance physicals for industrial, flightline, and emergency response workers
- Aeromedical Waivers: Comprehensive routing, preparation, and management of medical waivers for chronic or complex medical conditions requiring MAJCOM review
- Specialized Screenings including Color vision testing, depth perception exams, and other medical standards evaluations required for special duties
