Flight Medicine provides specialized care for aircrew and fire personnel, ensuring members are medically cleared, mission-ready, and safe to perform high-risk operational duties.
Services Provided
Routine appointments, diagnosis, and treatment for acute illnesses, minor injuries, and chronic medical conditions for standard Active Duty service members.
- Annual wellness exams, routine health screenings, immunizations, and laboratory/preventive tracking to maintain health.
- Initial clinical evaluations and routing to off-base host-nation specialists for advanced or complex care.
- Identifying conditions that do not meet retention standards and initiating the clinical paperwork for the Medical Evaluation Board and Physical Evaluation Board (PEB) processes.
- Preparing and managing annual medical summaries for members with chronic conditions to determine fitness for continued service.
- Managing temporary profiles, Assignment Limitation Codes (ALC / “C-codes”), and evaluating deployment readiness.
- Conducting the required Separation Health Physical Examinations (SHPE) for members transitioning out of the military.
- Working closely with squadron leadership to communicate duty limitations and medical profiles while protecting patient privacy.

There are no walk-in appointments. Patients must call the appointment line to be scheduled into same-day appointments reserved for acute issues.
